Dream Installation Warranty

Covers our workmanship — the way the window is installed in your home. If something traces back to how we did the job, we come back and fix it.

Why both warranties matter

Most window failures don't come from the window — they come from the install. The seal isn't right, the flashing skipped a step, the foam was the wrong type. That's not a manufacturer defect, so Andersen won't cover it. If your installer doesn't back their work, the failure is yours to fix.

Is the warranty transferable if I sell my home? expand_more
Yes — Andersen product warranties are transferable to subsequent homeowners for the remaining coverage period. We provide the original warranty paperwork at install so the next owner can register and use it. Buyer lenders treat transferable manufacturer warranties as a value-add at appraisal.
What does the Dream Windows installation warranty cover? expand_more
Our installation warranty covers labor for any defect attributable to the install itself — improperly seated frames, sealant failure at the install joint, flashing or shim issues. If a leak, draft, or hardware misalignment traces to how we installed the window, we come back and fix it on our dime.
What's NOT covered? expand_more
Owner-caused damage (glass breakage from impact, frame damage from cleaning chemicals, hardware damage from forced operation), acts of God (lightning, fire), and modifications by third parties (anyone other than Dream Windows and Doors working on the window after install) are excluded from both Andersen and our installation warranty. For Andersen product issues, we handle the manufacturer warranty claim on your behalf — you don't have to navigate Andersen customer service. For installation issues, we schedule a site visit, diagnose the cause, and fix it at no charge if it's within scope. Most claims resolve within 5–10 business days.
